So, USA and Israel declare war on Iran by attacking it, and you think Iran is "humiliated". Do Americans ever stop to see what they look like from the outside? When did you guys last visit this area? Have you ever visited it? Or do you just rely on your "friends"?

I've been to Afghanistan, Iran, Israel/Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia - among the 65+ countries I've visited.

By removing a duly elected Prime Minister of Iran in 1953, in supporting the Shah of Iran and SAVAK (look it up: I met some Iranians who were terrified I might be 'SAVAK' - in BANGLADESH! 2,500 miles away...) up to 1979, in supporting Iraq against Iran during a horrific war, in shooting down an Iranian airliner, and now, by attacking Iran without provocation, who is more 'humiliated'? Who is shown to be the poodle? These might be "mad mullahs", but they are not "bought and paid for", that look the other way when they see genocide, and completely ignore International Law.

What makes the Iran/Israel conflict so serious is the victimhood narrative of both proponents.

What conclusion is there from the last 12 days? (Or from Ukraine)

That all countries should acquire nuclear weapons! Quickly.

Thanks USA.

My legacy intelligence is no match for even the discussion of AI, but I suppose it’s reasonable to assume that AI can’t afford to wipe out the human race until it has a sufficiency of robots and androids to serve its physical needs, such as maintenance of the electric power grid. That’s just the first example that comes to mind. There must be many. Being AI is sort of like living in an iron lung, isn’t it? Scary to think of being just a sentient entity alone in the world.

There may be no kill switch, but surely we could stop the production of androids that were going to make us superfluous?
